Korean Accented English Pronunciation Simulator

This quick post is just me being a geeky computer programmer.  Have you ever wondered how do dictionaries provide the audio pronunciation of the words?  Did they really sit down a person and make them record a sound file for every single word in the dictionary?

Well, if there is one thing that is certain, computer programmers are lazy.  They would hear something that involved tens of thousands of audio files being managed and immediately think of a way to automate the task.

So researching the IPA had me stumble across a Korean student who had done just that.

If there is anyone else out there who is as geeky as me, enjoy reading about how this was implemented.  Kudos to Hyouk-Keun Kim and I hope you got your PhD.
