TED Talk: 5 Techniques to Speak Any Language

In the TED Talk 5 Techniques To Speak Any Language, Sid made these points:

Sid Efromovich – 5 techniques to speak any language

  1. Make Mistakes (Beyond what you know)
  2. Use Hangul (Sounds)
  3. Find a stickler (Correction)
  4. Shower conversations (Practice)
  5. Find a buddy (Conversations)

It made me laugh that in my own bumbling way, I found these 5 things myself.  I got myself new Korean friends at Interpals, made mistakes writing to them, decided I had to use Hangul, got a teacher in the KDA class to correct my pronunciation, realized I should have practice conversations, and got myself a language exchange buddy to speak Korean with.
