Kermit, I love you for being green

Kermit the Frog

It might have been Kermit the Frog who taught me it’s ok to be the color you are, accept yourself, and be proud.

It’s not that easy being green 녹색
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves
When I think it could be nicer being red 빨간, or yellow 노란, or gold 금색
Or something much more colorful like that

It’s not easy being green 녹색
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things

But green’s 녹색 the color of spring 봄
And green 녹색 can be big like a mountain 산
Or important like a river 강
Or tall like a tree 나무

I am green 녹색, and it’ll do fine
It’s beautiful 아름다운, and I think it’s what I want to be
