How are you?

Korean Digital Academy (KDA) class begins with small talk.  It is the part I dread the most. I am terrible at answering questions off the cuff.  Even though I know I am going to be asked what I had for dinner or how is the weather or similar questions, when it actually happens, my mind goes blank.

In KDA class 11, we stated with How are you? 잘 지내셨어요?

I had an “Ah ha” moment when I realized this phrase I had long ago memorized is in the past tense.  I haven’t learned past tense yet, but here is my first example.
