Place marker 에, 에서

p4_eparticlep4_esoparticleplace

Oppa Ryan from Mindpasta wrote me this to explain:
에 & 에서 makes you confused???
A. ~에
1. For place : to, on
– 에 can be used for direction or place to be
example :
– 책상에 둬(put it on the desk)
– 책상 위에 있어(It is on the desk)
2. For place(toward)
– 로/으로 also can be used
example :
– 집에 가자(Let’s go home)
– 바다로 가자(Let’s go to the sea)
3. For time : on, at
– this can be using for time.
example : 10시에 만나(let’s meet up on 10 am )
B. ~에서
1. For place (where)
– A bit different with ~에 : We use ‘에서’ when something happens somewhere
example :
– 길에서 다쳤다 ( I got hurt on the road )
– 집에서 기다려 ( Wait for me at home )
2. For place (from)
– 로부터 also can be used
example :
– 한국에서 왔어 ( I came from Korea )
