Two Truths and a Lie game, Not Learning

A suggestion from #Add1Challenger Kevin seems a perfect “not learning, just having fun” activity.

Of course, the problem is I can’t lie.  haha  Still, fun to make sentences saying outrageous things.

A variation I have done with my students is to play the same game but allow the other team or person to ask questions about your statement. They will try to find inconsistencies in your story or things you can’t answer easily.

    Example: person A gives these statements 1. I have a boyfriend 2. I have been to France 3. I have a sister

Person B then can ask anything he wants for a set amount of time.. How old is your sister, who did you go to France with, how long have you dated your boyfriend, is your sister like you, what annoys you about your girlfriend, what was your first impression of France? (The questions will vary depending on your language level)

It’s pretty funny when one person gets caught in a lie
