Poem: Spring breeze, azaleas bloom

Korean pen pal sent me a poem by Kim Dong-Hwan.  I’ve only managed to translate some of it, but those images are of southern spring breezes, azaleas fragrant blooms, and wheat ripe in May.

Poem by Kim Dong-Hwan  –

Who lives beyond the southern mountain

“I lovely like when southern wind blows from the southern sea.”   That magical way pen pal’s “not perfect” English leaves me feeling he has the soul of a poet.
